I am a clinician who moved into industry after ten years of practice, and I still think of every protocol from the perspective of the patient sitting in front of me.

I oversee 22 active clinical programmes, our global medical affairs organisation and the pharmacovigilance function that monitors safety for every marketed Exxopharm product.

Much of my recent work has been on making trials more representative — widening eligibility criteria, decentralising visits and recruiting in regions that have historically been left out of pivotal studies.

I sit on two international working groups on real-world evidence and report safety findings to our board every quarter.
