I run manufacturing and global supply — five production sites, a distribution network reaching 34 countries and around 4,000 colleagues.

I started on the shop floor as a process engineer in Kalundborg and have worked in nearly every part of our production chain since, from active ingredient synthesis to sterile fill-finish.

Reliability is the whole job. A medicine that is not on the shelf is not a medicine, so we hold deliberate redundancy in our supply of critical raw materials.

I also lead our decarbonisation programme; our Danish sites have run on renewable electricity since 2021 and we are working the same plan through our supplier base.
